Seriously though, this event is expecting a HUGE turnout with Bears from literally all over the world. Created by Bob Young, Chad Bush and Shannon Spotts the event is going to benefit local charities like SunServe. Money raised will also go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.
If you’re planning on coming to this event and aren’t from the Wilton Manors area, consider The Cabanas Guesthouse & Spa as your resort! We’ll keep you updated on the festivities for this event as we get them. This should be a great event!

Yea, we get it…you’re coming out with an underwear line. Mario Lopez is doing all of the undressing he possibly can to get some press for his new underwear line, “Rated M” and it’s definitely working.
Just the other day, Lopez was on the Ellen show and when Ellen told him to prove he was wearing his own line of undies he did just that. We’ve got the video…just look at that man. Statuesque, really.

Let’s talk about the new sushi place on Wilton Drive shall we. So good! There are so many things that are traditional, and non-traditional, about Gaysha. Let’s discuss…
The food is amazing. Very fresh with really great taste. I ordered the green salad with ginger dressing and a spicy tuna roll. I’m not normally a fan of big chunks of fish in my rolls, but this was an exception. The tuna rolls i’m used to have a minced kind of tuna, while this one featured a large chunk. The texture was great and the taste was even better!
The sushi chef is not your traditional chef. He’s got kind of a fashion hawk going on with two full tattoo sleeves and a punk rock kind of style. The restaurant has a really modern kind of decor with some surprises thrown in (like the bottle of liquor above the sushi bar that has the words “suck it” written on it).
The price was typical of a sushi place, not super cheap but reasonable. They don’t open until noon, but they are open really late so it kind of makes up for it (I’m an early lunch eater). Overall, Gaysha gets two very enthusiastic thumbs up!

In her national Thanksgiving special broadcast on ABC nationally on Thursday, Lady Gaga played all of the hits we’ve come to love. Before playing her smash hit Hair, Gaga made one of her infamous speeches about bullying.
I know I’ve said that it’s getting a little redundant and how everything with her is a lesson now, but I can’t help but see the importance in what she is trying to convey. Everyone gets bullied at some point and kudos to her for letting us all in and telling us the story of how she didn’t have a place to sit in her school cafeteria.

This is prettttyyyy amazing! Well, it seems that the holiday season is in full swing everywhere, especially in gay Fort Lauderdale! To help ring in the holiday season, Wilton Manors is kicking it off right with Dancing with the South Florida Stars.
Join local celebrities on Monday December 12, as they pair up and dance at The Manor for the Brian Neal Health and Fitness Foundation. Wine, hors d’Oeuvres and cheese will served courtesy of Naked Grape Wine Company and Stork’s Bakery, all located in Wilton Manors.
Tickets are $10 for general admission or $40 for VIP. See you there!

Well, I’m not the biggest fan of the color white but I guess I can make an exception for one of the best party weeks of the year. November 23 to 28 marks the WHITE PARTY WEEK. That means ya’ll out there in gay Fort Lauderdale need to bust out your stark white clothes and make sure that red wine is NOWHERE in the area.
On Saturday, November 26 we have Heatwave Pool Party with DJs KIO KIO and White Starz featuring DJs Jack Chang and Wayne G. On Sunday, November 27 join thousands of people as they take the party to the beach with DJs Michael Tank and Gustavo Scorpio.
