Oh Mary, call channel 5 because we have some BREAKING news! Â Bottoms & Tops, centrally located in the The Shoppes of Wilton Manors on Wilton Drive, has closed. Â They look like they’ve been gutted!
Some of you may recall that in issue number 6 of David it was announced as “Late Breaking News,” that 2 unnamed longtime Wilton Manors businesses were going to close its doors this month. Â So my question is, which is the second?
Could it be that The Outlet right down the street from this place is going to close as well?  Well, a secret source says, “no.”  According to my inside source, The Outlet has a different owner than both of the now closed stores and is in no danger of closing.  I don’t know…”$5 sale signs,” and “final sale” signs seem to suggest otherwise but I guess time will tell.

There’s only so long you can charge South Beach Prices for Stein Mart irregulars and seconds before even the trendy queens get wise.
I used to laugh at their 70% off sales. They were still turning a huge profit off of that stuff.
I’m sad to see any business close, but the place wasn’t populated by anything other than drunken curiosity seekers who staggered out of the Alibi
