So with all of this Wilton Manors Stonewall hoopla going on we totally forgot to acknowledge Target’s amazing new wedding registry ad.  Ummmmm, yea let’s discuss.

The ad, which features multiple images, prominently displays a picture of a gay couple that says “Be yourself together.”  LOVE THIS. Target is widely known as an LGBT friendly company (unlike a certain chicken fast food joint that sells waffle fries *cough cough*) but this is the first time that we’ve seen a guy on guy couple featured in one of their registry ads.

If more companies would take notes from Target and JCPenney, we’d be okay.

On a completely gay-unrelated side note, I’m obsessed with Target.  I can’t help it. It’s like everything I need housed under one roof.
